GROUP SUPERVISION online
FOR PRACTITIONERS
Sundays: 10am - 12 noon on ZOOM
Workshops are suitable for practitioners in the helping professions who would like to use writing strategies as part of their reflective practice about their work. And for practitioners already using Writing for Wellbeing in the community. If your work is within a different setting, but you feel this kind of writing would be helpful in figuring out how you relate to your work and colleagues, then please also contact me.
Supervision is an inclusive process in how we manage ourselves relating to others through our working practice. As practitioners working with others, I think of three qualities we all offer to clients: our particular set of skills, our presence as another human-being and our lived life-experience. These supervision workshops aim to help the integration of our professional and personal selves and clarify, hopefully, who we are as individuals with our own unique qualities.
Zoom is an amazing platform enabling participants joining from different parts of the UK and abroad. I have been amazed how real connection works on screen and I am really surprised how much I enjoy running workshops online. You’ll see a list — if you scroll down — for themes we have addressed.
All workshops include discussion, writing and sharing experiences.
Supervision Workshops: 2023
These are stand alone workshops on a Sunday morning. A sense of community amongst practitioners has arisen with a nucleus of those returning. They have been running since October 2020.
10.00am - 12.00 noon — and informal chat afterwards until 12.30pm
Dates for 2024
14 January, 11 February, 10 March
Fee: £40 per workshop
Bookings: Please use the contact form. Payment is directly to me and I will provide details. However the Stripe facility can also be used for any payments from outside the UK, which I will set up on the website, after hearing from you. Alternatively Wise is a money service provider with low fees for international transfers.
